## TL;DR

The CERN spin-out that Novartis bought in 2018 for Lutathera, which now makes Pluvicto and the Locametz and Netspot imaging kits.

## Summary

Advanced Accelerator Applications, based in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, France, and founded in 2002, is the CERN spin-out that Novartis bought in 2018 for Lutathera, and it now makes Pluvicto and the Locametz and Netspot imaging kits. AAA developed Lutathera, or 177Lu-DOTATATE, and the Netspot gallium-68 DOTATATE kit before its 3.9 billion dollar acquisition, and as Novartis' radioligand unit it manufactures Locametz, the gallium-68 PSMA-11 kit, and Pluvicto and runs the Novartis radioligand production network in Europe and the United States. OnCo links it to prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumours, to PSMA PET, somatostatin receptor PET and beta-emitter radioligand therapy, and to Novartis. Whether its production network can meet demand as radioligand indications widen is the open question. Locametz and Pluvicto have their own pages.
