## Summary

Andrea Sartore-Bianchi is a medical oncologist at the Niguarda Cancer Center in Milan. He was first author of the 2016 Lancet Oncology report of HERACLES, the phase 2 trial in which trastuzumab plus lapatinib produced responses in about a third of patients with heavily pretreated HER2-amplified, KRAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer, establishing HER2 as a target in the disease. His research covers resistance to anti-EGFR antibodies and molecular selection for therapy.
