Angiosarcoma Awareness describes itself on its home page as offering patient-driven research and resources for the angiosarcoma community: it supports patients, funds targeted research and shares open data. The same page says it was founded by Lauren Ryan and Corrie Painter, both of whom had primary angiosarcoma of the breast, and that it continues in Lauren Ryan's honour after her death in June 2014.
