## TL;DR

Biond Biologics is an Israeli company making antibodies that release new immune brakes so the immune system can attack tumours. Its lead antibody, BND-22, is in a phase 2 study with standard immunotherapy, and BND-35 has finished an early safety study.

## Summary

Biond Biologics Ltd., at Misgav Industrial Park, Israel, is a private, clinical-stage company developing first-in-class immunotherapies for cancer and immune-mediated diseases. BND-22 is an anti-ILT2 (LILRB1) checkpoint antibody, earlier partnered with Sanofi as SAR444881; Biond announced in March 2025 that it would regain full rights and in August 2025 started a phase 2 study with anti-PD-1 therapy. BND-67 is a first-in-class antibody that targets CD28 shedding and is in a phase 1 study. BND-35 is an anti-ILT3 (LILRB4) antibody aimed at suppressive myeloid cells; first patient dosing in its phase 1 study (NCT06274437) was announced in June 2024, and in October 2024 Biond agreed a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, to test BND-35 with cetuximab. The company website says the BND-35 monotherapy study is completed, while the ClinicalTrials.gov record lists it as terminated. In June 2026 it announced the closing of an USD 8 million investment and collaboration with the Guangzhou-Israel Biotechnology Fund. Its first registered cancer trial as lead sponsor, NCT06274437, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in February 2024.
