The same page gives 1987 as its founding year and a membership of psychologists (32 per cent), social workers (27), nurses (13) and others. It holds an annual conference and has a journal. Its own site carries clinical practice guidance, a staffing framework for psychosocial oncology programmes, and a patients section.
