## TL;DR

Find a mouse or dish model that matches a tumour type or mutation.

## Summary

Cancer Models (the PDCM Finder) and the Human Cancer Models Initiative (HCMI) catalogue patient-derived cancer models, PDX, organoids and cell lines, with their molecular data, so a researcher can find a mouse or dish model matching a tumour type or mutation. PDCM Finder is run by EMBL-EBI and the Jackson Laboratory, HCMI by the NCI, and both are open; HCMI distributes next-generation models with clinical annotation. On OnCo the collection is tied to the technologies Patient-derived xenografts and Patient-derived organoids and to the Drug discovery roadmap. It is cited by the bottlenecks Lab models that fail to predict what happens in patients and Preclinical results do not reproduce, and by ideas such as Score every preclinical model by how often it predicted the clinical result.
