## TL;DR

A small randomised trial comparing frozen gloves, tight gloves and loose gloves during taxane chemotherapy. Tight compression did best, partly because far more women kept it on than kept the cold gloves on.

## Summary

CONTRoL randomised 63 patients to cryotherapy, compression or a loose glove and sock placebo. Success at 12 weeks was 64.7 per cent with compression and 41.1 per cent with both cryotherapy and placebo. Adherence was 35.0 per cent with cryotherapy against 72.7 per cent with compression, which shapes how the result should be read.
