## Summary

Earli, started in June 2018 by Sam Gambhir, Cyriac Roeding and David Suhy, designs cancer-activated genetic constructs: DNA delivered by lipid nanoparticles ('cancerLNPs') beyond the liver, with promoters chosen using AI so that they switch on only in cancer cells. Once active, the construct makes the cancer cell produce an immune-activating protein, such as a T-cell engager, cytokine or multi-specific, inside the tumour. Earlier work used the same approach to make synthetic biomarkers for detecting and imaging cancer, and the company says diagnostic imaging and immune and radioligand therapy applications are built on the platform. The company reports specificity across human cancer samples, efficacy in several preclinical models and safety in non-human primates; its 2024 to 2026 conference presentations cover non-small-cell lung cancer, liver tumours and cancer-activated interleukin expression. It began at JLABS in South San Francisco and now has an office and laboratory in Redwood City.
