## TL;DR

EnGeneIC is an Australian biotech that loads bacterially derived nanocells with chemotherapy and steers them to tumours with antibodies; E-EDV-D682 carries a super-cytotoxic payload to EGFR-expressing cancers.

## Summary

EnGeneIC developed the EnGeneIC Dream Vector (EDV), a 400-nanometre bacterially derived minicell that is packed with a drug and coated with a bispecific antibody so it binds a tumour antigen and is taken up by the cancer cell. The EDVs also stimulate innate immunity. E-EDV-D682 targets EGFR and carries the PNU-159682 payload; it is being tested in pancreatic cancer and other advanced solid tumours, in some studies with immunomodulatory EDVs.
