## Summary

GTx Incorporated, founded in 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee, worked on selective androgen receptor modulators and toremifene. Its phase 3 POWER trials tested enobosarm against muscle wasting in non-small cell lung cancer, and later studies explored it in androgen receptor-positive breast cancer; a toremifene programme for prostate cancer patients on androgen deprivation was also taken to phase 3. GTx merged with Oncternal Therapeutics in 2019. Its trials remain on ClinicalTrials.gov under GTx as lead sponsor.
