## TL;DR

The largest vaccine trial after pancreatic cancer surgery found that algenpantucel-L added nothing to standard chemotherapy.

## Summary

IMPRESS enrolled 722 patients after resection of pancreatic adenocarcinoma and randomised them to standard adjuvant therapy with or without the whole-cell vaccine algenpantucel-L. Overall survival, the primary endpoint, was not improved, ending the hyperacute vaccine approach in this disease.
