## Summary

Infinitopes was spun out of the University of Oxford in 2021 and is based at the BioEscalator in Oxford, with support from Cancer Research UK. Its Precision Immunomics platform measures the tumour immunopeptidome directly and uses machine learning trained on patient samples to choose tumour-specific targets, which are delivered with engineered viral vectors intended to give durable CD8 T-cell responses from a prime-and-boost schedule.

In April 2024 it announced a GBP 12.8 million seed round led by Octopus Ventures with Cancer Research Horizons, the Cancer Research Institute, CRIS Cancer Foundation, Kindred Capital and Manta Ray among others. In January 2026 a second close co-led by Octopus Ventures and Amplify Bio brought the seed to USD 35.1 million, to fund VISTA, a first-in-human, double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled phase 1/2a study of ITOP1 given around chemotherapy and surgery to reduce recurrence of oesophageal cancer after resection.
