He was first author of the 2018 Journal of Clinical Oncology report of the phase 3 trial in which CPX-351, a liposomal fixed-ratio formulation of daunorubicin and cytarabine, improved overall survival compared with standard 7+3 induction in patients aged 60 to 75 with newly diagnosed secondary AML, the basis of the drug's approval.
