## Summary

Kimberly Dunsmore chaired the Children's Oncology Group trial AALL0434 in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and lymphoma. She was first author of its 2020 Journal of Clinical Oncology report, which showed that adding nelarabine to augmented BFM chemotherapy improved disease-free survival in children and young adults with T-ALL, and that the regimen produced the best outcomes yet reported for the disease. She has held paediatric oncology leadership roles at the University of Virginia and Carilion Clinic.
