Krishnansu Tewari is a gynaecologic oncologist at the University of California, Irvine. He was first author of the 2014 New England Journal of Medicine report of GOG 240, in which adding bevacizumab to chemotherapy improved overall survival in recurrent, persistent or metastatic cervical cancer, and of the 2022 New England Journal of Medicine report of EMPOWER-Cervical 1, in which cemiplimab lengthened survival compared with chemotherapy after platinum failure.
