## Summary

MERMAID-2 was AstraZeneca's phase 3, double-blind trial of durvalumab against placebo for people with stage II to III non-small-cell lung cancer whose ctDNA became detectable during surveillance after curative treatment, the 'treat at molecular relapse' design. The registry records a start on 30 November 2020, a status of completed with 30 participants, primary completion on 31 May 2023 and study completion on 15 January 2024. Its small size is the reason the roadmap describes ctDNA-triggered escalation as unproven outside bladder cancer.
