## TL;DR

## Summary

NanO2 is NuvOx Therapeutics' dodecafluoropentane emulsion. NuvOx states that it has been given in completed phase 1/2a trials in acute ischaemic stroke and glioblastoma, that the FDA has allowed phase 2b trials in both, and that it received orphan drug designation for the treatment of glioblastoma in 2015 and for sickle cell anaemia in 2016. The phase 2 RESTORE trial (NCT03862430) compares NanO2 with saline placebo alongside radiotherapy and temozolomide in newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
