The company announced a $144 million oversubscribed Series B in August 2024. Its first registered cancer trial, NCT07030907, a phase 1a/b study of OPB-101 in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, was posted on ClinicalTrials.gov in June 2025 and has since been terminated, with the registry giving a business decision as the reason. NCT07664735, a phase 1a/b study of OPB-201 in recurrent endometrial and platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, was posted in June 2026.
