# Real-world data and clinical experience from over 100,000 multi-cancer early detection tests

## TL;DR

Across 111,080 Galleri tests ordered in ordinary US practice, about one in a hundred was positive, and where doctors reported back, just over half of those people had cancer.

## Summary

Matrana and colleagues analysed 111,080 people (median age 58) who had the Galleri test commercially. The cancer signal detection rate was 0.91% (1,011 of 111,080). Providers reported a clinical outcome for 459 of the 1,011; 258 of these had an invasive cancer diagnosis across 32 cancer types. Cancer signal origin was correct in 87% of cases with a reported cancer type, and the median time from result to diagnosis was 39.5 days.
