## Summary

The review states that ivermectin was approved by the FDA in 1996 as an oral medicine for intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, that data on it as a gynaecological cancer-fighting compound are lacking, and that clinical studies of ivermectin in cancer are limited to effects observed in cell lines (Mujumdar review 2025).
