## TL;DR

This 2020 expert consensus sets out when a PSMA PET scan can be used to judge whether prostate cancer is responding to treatment, and how responders and non-responders should be called.

## Summary

A panel of nuclear medicine, radiology and urology experts met in Amsterdam in February 2020 (Fanti and colleagues, European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2020) and reached consensus on all its statements: PSMA PET/CT can be used before and after any local or systemic treatment of metastatic prostate cancer to evaluate response; its criteria should classify patients as responders (complete response, partial response, stable disease) or non-responders; and oligometastatic and polymetastatic disease need separate consideration. PROMISE V2 cites PSMA PET progression (PPP) and RECIP as the frameworks its recorded parameters serve.
