## Summary

Rachel Kerr is a medical oncologist and Associate Professor of Gastrointestinal Oncology in the University of Oxford's Department of Oncology, works at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust within the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team, and is clinical director of phase 3 trials at the Oncology Clinical Trials Office. She was first author of QUASAR 2, which showed that adding bevacizumab to adjuvant capecitabine did not improve disease-free survival, and second author of SCOT, which found three months of adjuvant oxaliplatin-fluoropyrimidine chemotherapy non-inferior to six months with far less lasting peripheral neuropathy.
