London gynaecological oncologist who led RAMP 201, the trial that established the avutometinib and defactinib combination for recurrent KRAS-mutant low-grade serous ovarian cancer.

## Summary

Susana Banerjee is a consultant medical oncologist at The Royal Marsden and research lead for its gynaecology unit. She was first author of the 2025 Journal of Clinical Oncology report of RAMP 201, the phase 2 trial in which the RAF/MEK clamp avutometinib plus the FAK inhibitor defactinib produced responses in recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer, particularly KRAS-mutant disease, the basis of the combination's accelerated approval. She has led ESMO's gynaecological cancer guidelines and trials of PARP inhibitors.
