An autologous T cell therapy designed to target TIM-4 ligand (phosphatidylserine), an 'eat me' signal on abnormal cells, through the external domain of the receptor TIM-4. It is meant to combine T cell killing with phagocytic clearance. Its furthest stage is phase 1, for acute myeloid leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, myelofibrosis and non-small cell lung cancer (planned). ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in one study linked below. Phase 1 in AML, MDS and myelofibrosis recruiting (NCT06834282). The 10-K filed 15 April 2026 says a second IND for NSCLC and ovarian cancer was accepted on 27 March 2025, with a phase 1 expected in the second half of 2026; no registered solid-tumour trial was found. Whether it works in people has not been established unless a trial below reports it.","status":"phase-1","asOf":"2026-11-03","links":[{"label":"CERo Therapeutics: sec.gov","url":"https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1870404/000121390026044040/ea0285271-10k_cero.htm"},{"label":"CERo Therapeutics: sec.gov","url":"https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1870404/000121390026044040/ea0285271-10k_cero.htm"},{"label":"CERo Therapeutics: clinicaltrials.gov","url":"https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06834282"},{"label":"CERo Therapeutics: cero.bio","url":"https://cero.bio/pipeline"},{"label":"ClinicalTrials.gov: trials of CER-1236","url":"https://clinicaltrials.gov/search?intr=CER-1236"}],"tags":["pipeline","ctgov-ingest"],"related":[],"cancers":["aml","mds","primary-myelofibrosis"],"sections":[],"technologies":[],"targets":[],"drugs":[],"companies":["cero-therapeutics"],"institutions":[],"pathways":[],"terms":[],"trials":["nct06834282"],"people":[],"bottlenecks":[],"keyPapers":[],"journals":[],"dependsOn":[],"notes":[],"provenance":{"editedBy":"OnCo gap audit, class 5 (company pipeline pages and ClinicalTrials.gov v2)","editedOn":"2026-11-03"},"code":"CER-1236","modality":"Autologous chimeric engulfment receptor T-cell therapy (CER-T)","mechanism":"An autologous T cell therapy designed to target TIM-4 ligand (phosphatidylserine), an 'eat me' signal on abnormal cells, through the external domain of the receptor TIM-4.
