In January 2024 the company announced ethics approval, from the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, for a multi-centre, randomised, double-blind phase II study of IVB003 against placebo, each added to standard treatment, in locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer: eighty patients at no fewer than eight Australian sites, 120 mg three times a day, with progression-free survival as the primary endpoint and objective response rate among the secondary ones. No registry record or result was found.
