Three-year disease-free survival was 74.6 percent with chemotherapy alone against 71.5 percent with cetuximab added in KRAS wild-type disease (hazard ratio 1.21, 95% CI 0.98 to 1.49, p=0.08), and 67.1 against 65.0 percent in KRAS-mutant disease. Grade 3 or higher adverse events rose from 52.3 to 72.5 percent. No subgroup benefited.
