(Nature Communications 2020), PanSeer was run on stored plasma from the Taizhou Longitudinal Study (123,115 healthy people who gave samples): among 605 asymptomatic people, 191 later diagnosed with stomach, oesophageal, colorectal, lung or liver cancer within four years, it detected cancer in 95% of those later diagnosed, and in 88% of post-diagnosis patients at 96% specificity. The authors state that future longitudinal studies are required to confirm the result. Singlera's website no longer lists PanSeer or another multi-cancer product (it lists single-cancer colorectal and liver tests); its FuSion (NCT05159544) and INSPIRE (NCT06440018) studies develop multi-omic and methylation-plus-fragmentomics successors.
