Median overall survival was 6.2 months (95 percent CI 5.4 to 7.6) with FOLFOX against 5.3 months (4.1 to 5.8); adjusted hazard ratio 0.69 (0.50 to 0.97), p=0.031. Survival at 6 and 12 months was 50.6 and 25.9 percent with FOLFOX against 35.5 and 11.4 percent.
