SOLTI Cancer Research Group

aka SOLTI

A Barcelona-based academic breast cancer group known for biomarker-driven trials that use PAM50 intrinsic subtypes to pick therapy.

Founded in 1995, SOLTI is a Spanish academic research group that designs translational breast cancer trials around molecular subtyping. PAMELA showed the HER2-enriched intrinsic subtype predicts response to dual HER2 blockade without chemotherapy, PATRICIA tested palbociclib with trastuzumab, and HARMONIA compares ribociclib with palbociclib in HER2-enriched luminal disease. SOLTI works closely with Vall d'Hebron and Hospital Clínic investigators, partners with the Breast International Group and industry, and runs window-of-opportunity and neoadjuvant designs with serial biopsies. Patient advocates sit on its scientific committee.
