Corrections log

A public record of every factual correction: what the record said, why it was wrong, how the error was found, and the commit that fixed it. Errors are expected in a corpus this size; hiding them would be the failure.

Every factual correction to the OnCo corpus, newest first. Format: date · entity · what was wrong · how it was found · fix.

How corrections are logged

  • Anyone can report an error via a GitHub issue or pull request.
  • A correction entry names the entity, states precisely what was wrong, says how it was found (reader report, automated audit, fact-check job, congress update, reviewer), and links the fixing commit.
  • The automated audit and weekly registry fact-check surface candidates; only confirmed errors are logged here.

Found an error? Open an issue or a pull request on GitHub; the fix gets logged here. Source: CORRECTIONS.md. See also the automated audit.
