BI-1206 is an experimental monoclonal antibody from BioInvent International, in phase 2 trials for non-small-cell lung cancer, uveal melanoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other cancers.
BI-1206 (BI1206) is a monoclonal antibody from BioInvent International, with Merck & Co. as partner. A high-affinity monoclonal antibody that selectively binds FcγRIIB (CD32B), the only inhibitory member of the FcγR family, intended to address a mechanism of resistance to PD-1 inhibition; tested with pembrolizumab and with rituximab. Its furthest stage is phase 2, for non-small-cell lung cancer, uveal melanoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and advanced solid tumours. ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in one study linked below. Phase 1/2a NCT04219254 (with pembrolizumab, MSD collaborator) recruiting (registry, checked 3 Nov 2026). Whether it works in people has not been established unless a trial below reports it.
