BI-1607 is an experimental monoclonal antibody from BioInvent International, in phase 2 trials for melanoma, uveal melanoma and HER2-positive breast cancer and other cancers.
BI-1607 is a monoclonal antibody (engineered) from BioInvent International. An engineered anti-FcγRIIB (FCGR2B) antibody intended to enhance efficacy and overcome resistance to existing cancer treatments such as targeted antibodies and checkpoint inhibitors; tested with ipilimumab and pembrolizumab in melanoma and earlier with trastuzumab. Its furthest stage is phase 2, for melanoma, uveal melanoma, HER2-positive breast cancer and HER2-positive gastric cancer. ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in 2 studies linked below. Phase 1b/2a NCT06784648 (melanoma, with ipilimumab and pembrolizumab) active, not recruiting; the earlier trastuzumab combination trial NCT05555251 is terminated (registry, checked 3 Nov 2026). The BI-1607 page is no longer linked from BioInvent's programme menu. Whether it works in people has not been established unless a trial below reports it.
