Mairéad McNamara
Leads biliary tract cancer trials at The Christie, the Manchester centre behind the ABC trial series, and is a member of the international biliary trial collaborations.
Overview
Mairéad McNamara is a senior lecturer in medical oncology at the University of Manchester and honorary consultant at The Christie, where she treats hepato-pancreato-biliary and neuroendocrine cancers and leads biliary tract cancer trials with colleagues in the Manchester group that ran the ABC series. She is a member of the International Biliary Tract Cancer Collaborators and the International Cholangiocarcinoma Research Network and co-authored ABC-06.
