Overview
Juan Valle was chief investigator of ABC-02, the UK trial that established gemcitabine plus cisplatin as first-line therapy for advanced biliary tract cancer, and a lead investigator of TOPAZ-1, which added durvalumab to that backbone. He has led the ABC series of biliary trials and international guidelines on cholangiocarcinoma. He now leads research strategy at the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
