Thierry Conroy
Led the FOLFIRINOX trials that gave pancreatic cancer its most active chemotherapy in both metastatic and adjuvant settings.
Overview
Thierry Conroy (Nancy, France) was principal investigator of PRODIGE 4/ACCORD 11, which showed FOLFIRINOX nearly doubles survival versus gemcitabine in metastatic pancreatic cancer, and of PRODIGE 24, which showed modified FOLFIRINOX after resection extends median survival to more than four years. These two trials define modern pancreatic cancer chemotherapy. He continues to lead PRODIGE GI trials.
