Overview
AMMF (registered charity 1198095, Stansted, Essex) is the UK's only cholangiocarcinoma charity. It publishes patient information on diagnosis, treatment, molecular profiling and clinical trials, keeps a list of UK and Irish centres with cholangiocarcinoma expertise, funds research grants, runs an annual cholangiocarcinoma conference and an HPB nurse study day, campaigns in Westminster (Rethink Liver Cancer) and is a patient representative on the British Society of Gastroenterology cholangiocarcinoma guideline. Its chief executive, Helen Morement, was a co-author of that guideline.
