Greater Manchester's HPB surgical unit; works with The Christie, where the region's biliary oncology and the ABC trial series are based.
Overview
The Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Unit at the Manchester Royal Infirmary is the surgical centre for Greater Manchester and works closely with The Christie, the specialist cancer centre that led the ABC series of UK biliary trials. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is one of the trusts the National Pancreatic Cancer Audit identifies as an HPB specialist centre for England.
