Overview
King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) houses the Institute of Liver Studies and a hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery service. It is one of the trusts the National Pancreatic Cancer Audit identifies as an HPB specialist centre for England and appears on AMMF's list of UK centres with cholangiocarcinoma expertise. HPB surgeon Nigel Heaton was a co-author of the 2023 British Society of Gastroenterology cholangiocarcinoma guideline.
