Overview
Oncodetect launched in 2025 with initial validation in stage II-IV colorectal cancer, where the company reported that ctDNA positivity after surgery and during surveillance was strongly associated with recurrence, and Medicare coverage for colorectal surveillance followed. Exact Sciences has Cologuard's primary-care channel and the Oncotype DX oncology sales force behind it, which makes the test a commercial rather than technical challenge to Signatera. Broader indications and interventional trials are pending.
