Instituto Português de Oncologia de Coimbra Francisco Gentil

IPO Coimbra is one of the three Portuguese Institutes of Oncology named after Francisco Gentil, alongside IPO Lisboa and IPO Porto, and is the public dedicated cancer hospital for central Portugal. It provides surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiotherapy, haematology, nuclear medicine and palliative care, hosts the regional cancer registry, and collaborates with the University of Coimbra on clinical and translational research. The institute is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Cancer Centre.
