The Xiamen study that first imaged the TROP2 protein in 90 patients with 15 kinds of cancer using a new PET scan.
NCT06188468 evaluated the feasibility of 68Ga-MY6349 PET/CT for non-invasive assessment of Trop2 expression across cancer types, with the aim of identifying patients who might benefit from Trop-2-targeted antibody-drug conjugates. Results were published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation in 2024: uptake correlated with Trop2 immunohistochemistry and was higher than FDG in breast, prostate and thyroid cancer.
