LMY-920 is an experimental CAR-T treatment from Luminary Therapeutics, made from a patient's own immune cells, aimed at three receptors on cancerous B cells. It is in early trials in lymphoma and myeloma.
LMY-920 is a BAFF ligand-based CAR-T cell therapy developed by Luminary Therapeutics. Two phase 1 trials sponsored by Luminary are registered: NCT05312801 in B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma with Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, and NCT05546723 in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma with Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University. No results have been published.
T cells carry a chimeric antigen receptor built on the BAFF ligand, so each cell can bind three BAFF receptors on malignant B cells.
