AVC-101 (UniCAR-T-CD123) is an autologous switchable CAR-T cell therapy (UniCAR, with separately dosed targeting module) from AvenCell Therapeutics, with AvenCell Europe GmbH as partner. Autologous CAR-T cells carrying a universal switchable receptor that is only active when a separately infused targeting module binds CD123 on leukaemia cells, so activity can be turned off and on. Its furthest stage is phase 1, for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukaemia. No clinical trial naming it is registered on ClinicalTrials.gov. Phase 1 dose escalation in relapsed/refractory AML reported at ASH 2023; AVC-101 is not on the current company pipeline page (which lists AVC-201, AVC-202, AVC-203).
