NG-348 is an experimental cancer-killing virus from Akamis Bio, tested in a completed phase 1 study for advanced epithelial tumours.
NG-348 is an oncolytic adenovirus (T-SIGn), given into a vein, carrying a transgene from Akamis Bio. A tumour-selective adenovirus that makes infected tumour cells display CD80 and an anti-CD3 antibody fragment on their surface, so that T cells engage them directly. The company says a phase 1 study of NG-348 alone in metastatic or advanced epithelial tumours was completed and presented at SITC 2026, and its pipeline lists metastatic colorectal cancer as the intended use. No ClinicalTrials.gov record was found under NG-348 or NG348. Whether it works in people has not been established.
