Zevorcabtagene autoleucel
Zevor-cel is CARsgen's myeloma CAR-T, approved in China in 2024 for patients whose disease has come back after three or more treatments.
Overview
Approved by the NMPA in February 2024 for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma after three or more lines including a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory drug, on the LUMMICAR STUDY 1 phase 1/2 trial run in China. CARsgen reported high response rates with deep remissions and mostly low-grade cytokine release syndrome; the full phase 2 report appeared in Experimental Hematology and Oncology in 2025. Commercialised in China with Huadong Medicine. CARsgen's second approval, satricabtagene autoleucel for Claudin 18.2-positive gastric cancer, followed in 2025.
