IntReALL SR 2010
IntReALL SR 2010 brought the European relapse groups together to compare their two chemotherapy programmes head to head for children whose leukaemia had returned, and to test adding an antibody against CD22; it has completed and the corpus records the design while the full results are awaited.
Overview
IntReALL SR 2010 was a randomised phase 3 trial of the Resistant Disease Committee of the International BFM Study Group, sponsored by Charite Berlin with co-sponsors across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, for children with standard-risk first relapse of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (late relapses and isolated extramedullary relapses). The first randomisation compared the German ALL-REZ BFM 2002 induction and consolidation programme with the United Kingdom ALL R3 programme; the second randomised consolidation with or without epratuzumab, an antibody against CD22 that has no record in this corpus. Later amendments introduced blinatumomab in place of chemotherapy blocks, which is how the relapsed childhood leukaemia page cites the trial alongside AALL1331.
The registry lists 700 participants and a completion date of July 2023. No primary result is posted on the registry or published in a journal indexed by Europe PMC, so the record states the design and not an outcome. The trial's successor, IntReALL 2020, is registered as NCT07476729.
