Vinorelbine
Vinorelbine is a vinca chemotherapy for lung and breast cancer, available orally, and is now part of maintenance therapy that improved survival in childhood rhabdomyosarcoma.
Approved 1994 for NSCLC (with cisplatin; adjuvant in ANITA/JBR.10 trials). Used in metastatic breast cancer, mesothelioma, Hodgkin lymphoma salvage, and metronomic oral schedules. Maintenance vinorelbine-cyclophosphamide improved OS in high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma (EpSSG RMS 2005).
