The first chemotherapy to extend life in prostate cancer (2004), now part of triplet therapy at first metastatic diagnosis.
TAX 327 (mCRPC, 2004); CHAARTED and STAMPEDE (mHSPC, OS benefit in high-volume disease); PEACE-1 and ARASENS triplets. Also used in breast, lung, gastric, head and neck cancers.
