Ambagon Therapeutics
Ambagon Therapeutics designs small molecules that act like glue, locking a hub protein called 14-3-3 onto its partner proteins to switch them on or off. It is an early-stage company with cancer and brain disease programmes.
Overview
Ambagon Therapeutics calls itself the 14-3-3 molecular glue company: it develops small-molecule stabilisers of 14-3-3:client protein complexes to modulate intrinsically disordered proteins and transcription factors, using a 14-3-3 structural 'encyclopedia', a dedicated compound library and high-throughput X-ray crystallography. The pipeline lists a neurodegeneration kinase programme in lead optimisation, an oncology programme against a transcription factor and structural protein at hit exploration, and metabolic and neurology programmes; in April 2026 Symeres announced a collaboration with Ambagon on molecular glues in colorectal cancer. All programmes are preclinical. Incorporated in 2020 with a San Francisco address, its SEC Form D filings record about 7.2 million US dollars sold in 2020, 45 million in 2022 and 5 million in 2025, the last listing Eindhoven, Netherlands, the only location on its contact page.
