BioAtla develops conditionally active biologics (CAB) that bind their target under the low pH of the tumour microenvironment but not at the physiological pH of normal tissue, widening the therapeutic window. Its clinical programmes include the AXL conjugate mecbotamab vedotin, the ROR2 conjugate ozuriftamab vedotin, the EpCAM x CD3 bispecific BA3182 and the CTLA-4 antibody BA3071, which is being tested with nivolumab.
